Renee and Dean were married at Killara Estate. I love this family run property, with sprawling views of the valley. There are a few different options for your ceremony location and Renne and Dean choose the deck as their location.
Their wedding fell on an extremely hot day, with temperatures reaching over 34 degrees. Renne and Dean wanted the beautiful views as a backdrop, and Tizia May captured these exceptionally well. The guests did their best to stay out of the heat, while also being close enough to hear the ceremony.
Dean and Renee’s love blossomed over a period of years. They initially met when Renee had a part time job as a cleaner at Swinburne College and Dean was working there on Friday nights for the Children’s Performing Company. They spent many weeks walking past each other and chatting. As the weeks passed, Dean began going to his second job very early to ensure he could have a few minutes to chat with Renee. One evening Dean walked Renee to her car and simply asked her: “If she had nothing better to do that weekend would she like to hang out.” Those simple words were the start of a beautiful relationship.
Renee’s first impression of Dean was that he was kind, in his mid thirties, and had a really cute bum!! Little did she know at the time, he was only 21.” Dean initially thought that Renee was beautiful, easy to talk to, happy and very welcoming.
It was a spectacular day and I loved being a part of it.
